If you only work your biceps and forget the rest of your body, your biceps will never grow. Instead, you need a good muscle building routine that will encourage muscle growth everywhere. Be sure the work out program you follow includes fundamental exercises that work out the entire body, and keep isolation exercises to a minimum. Exercises like squats and the bench press are two great examples of exercises that will encourage muscle growth throughout your entire body. When you discover a muscle building routine that includes these basic exercises you will be laying the foundation to build bigger biceps.
Sometimes less is more. Quite a few people believe if you perform more sets than your arms will have to grow bigger. Unfortunately, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Focus on keeping your sets to a minimum, and try to progress from workout to workout. If you work out your arms too much they will not have the time to properly recuperate, and you’ll be doing more harm than good.
If you want to build bigger biceps you need to incorporate these 2 basic exercises. Your work out should include barbell and dumbbell curls. Talk to anyone who has big arms, and I guarantee they incorporate these 2 basic exercises in their biceps routine. Steadily increase your reps and weight from week to week and you will begin to notice your strength increase and therefore your biceps improve.
If you want bigger biceps than proper form is critical. To most people this is obvious, but it’s surprising at the amount of people who ignore proper form when their working their biceps. One of the main reasons is ego. There are a lot of people who work out with much more weight than they can handle, either to impress themselves or the other people near them. Stay focused and remember good form will deliver good results.
